ASK accepts and edits electronic claims submissions using the ANSI X12 837 P and I (Professional and Institutional) 5010 formats based on the HIPAA Implementation Guides.
You will receive a clearinghouse response report for each electronic submission indicating:
• The number of claims submitted successfully.
• The data fields that need to be corrected before electronically resubmitting a claim returned for edit errors.
